Looking for a Content Editor for a Popular Water Sports Blog

We're looking for an expert to edit our blog posts and articles, and a rock star who can publish them on our website.

You'll work with our small team of writers by editing their work for grammar, formatting, etc. Once edited you'll be publishing these posts live on the web complete with links, images, proper formatting, and more.

You'll be in charge of 3-5 writers, assigning them articles from our content pool and enforcing deadlines. You will be editing them for grammar, accuracy, and optimizing them for SEO.

You will not be considered if you do not send us at least three examples of your work

You MUST have SEO optimization experience (2+ years) and experience as a Writer/Editor (2+ years).

BONUS: If you're skilled in WordPress and/or Shopify's blog platform.

Part-time to full-time position. You can work on your own time from anywhere, as long as the work gets done.

You can work on your own time zone or schedule – remote job!

Assigning articles to writers
Enforcing writer deadines
Giving feedback to your Team Lead regarding writing quality and accuracy
Editing 4-6 detailed articles and blog posts per week
Coordinating with Blog Publishers
Finding media, photos, etc. for your articles

There will be a 2-month training and trial period in which we evaluate your fit for the tasks and team. If you're a good fit, this position will grow to full-time.
