Marketing Program Coordinator at ChowNow

Are you an experienced marketer who has a passion for driving fast-paced marketing initiatives forward? We’re looking for a strategic, highly-organized, analytical marketer who is obsessed with managing a robust pipeline of marketing initiatives across multiple marketing disciplines. If this sounds like you, then we might have the perfect opportunity for you!

About Us:

ChowNow is unique among tech startups in the restaurant space. We power branded online ordering systems for independent restaurants across North America – via websites, Instagram, Google, and through branded iOS and Android apps – and we do it all for a reasonable monthly fee regardless of order volume. We operate this way because of our belief in being fair, sustainable, and equitable with our restaurant partners. And the same goes for our workplace.

Diversity, teamwork, and mutual respect are among our core company values. And we pride ourselves on giving our teams plenty of opportunities to make their mark. To date we’ve created over 18,000 apps for our restaurant partners – something that’s never been done before in our category. And as we expand to new markets, further spreading the word about the ChowNow difference, those opportunities to create, build, and grow will only increase. If this sounds like the kind of workplace, and the kind of mission, that appeals to you, we’d love to talk.

About the Position:

As a Marketing Program Coordinator on the Growth Marketing team, you will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and deployment of marketing campaigns from planning to execution to measurement — across B2B demand generation, customer marketing, partner marketing, product marketing, and sales enablement. You’ll meet with cross-departmental stakeholders to intake new project requests and write up marketing campaign requirements, presenting them to your manager with impact, priority, and scope. You’ll help craft the strategic vision of a campaign, lead kickoff meetings, and assist with mapping out the tasks required to implement that vision, keeping all parties on track with our project management software. This role is not responsible for content development.

Reports to Senior Manager, Growth Marketing; no direct reports.

Within 30 Days, You’ll:

  • Complete our ChowNow onboarding (Los Angeles or remote) where you’ll learn the ins and outs about ChowNow and our products.
  • Familiarize yourself with how the Growth Marketing team works with each team in the organization, including Sales, Restaurant Success, Partnerships and Product.
  • Review RACI plans for 2 historic product marketing launches, understanding the various components of a ChowNow GTM strategy, and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Review campaign launch workflows, and write up a recommendation plan for optimization.
  • Become an expert in our project management software, Asana, and write up your first marketing campaign brief.
  • Meet with cross-departmental stakeholders, establishing yourself as a go-to person on the Growth Marketing team.

Within 60 Days, You’ll:

  • Assist tracking the marketing components in the GTM launch of a new ChowNow product, successfully keeping all cross-departmental stakeholders on task.
  • Coordinate the launch of your first demand generation campaign, in coordination with our content marketing, email marketing, and paid media teams.
  • Document a campaign plan for engaging current restaurant partners to reduce churn and increase upsell of additional products.

Within 90 Days You’ll:

  • Launch your next multi-channel demand generation marketing campaign driving a 15% increase in MQLs.
  • Contribute to a 50% increase in inbound leads for the Restaurant Success team for additional product upsells.
  • Work with Growth Marketing Manager to map out and implement automated campaign touchpoints that automatically upsell ChowNow’s top-priority products.
