Full Job Description
Remote – Part-time
eMerge is looking for a motivated and talented Sales Development Representative to join our growing
team. Your primary responsibility is to help turn leads into qualified opportunities by partnering with
marketing and sales to create and execute on inbound and outbound lead generation campaigns. This is
not a silo position. We want a collaborative and energetic individual that can contribute, work
independently, and work proactively to drive overall sales performance.
Help us solve real-world problems for real-world people while streamlining, optimizing, and simplifying
the inefficiency of their existing business systems (or future business systems) business practices (let’s
make complex stuff easy).

What You’ll Do!

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities
  • Learn how eMerge works from the ground up and build the foundation for your career at eMerge Technologies;
  • Work with your dedicated Account Executives to identify ongoing strategic targets;
  • Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone calls, email, LinkedIn and other social mediums;
  • Research your target companies and prepare executive summaries to turn your Sales Executive into a guru ahead of their calls;
  • Diligently update SalesForce, our CRM, to stay current on leads and follow-ups;
  • Shadow your dedicated Account Executive in meetings and other activities to help you acquire the skills you’ll need for next role on the eMerge team;
  • Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries
  • Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence
  • Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone and email
  • Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales teams
  • Set appointments for sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage
  • Cold call into prospects generated by variety of outside sources
  • Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a field sales rep
