We’ve also partnered with industry leaders in permaculture, homesteading, microgreen growing and more to offer our readers further education in growing their own food and living in harmony with the land.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a content writer with at least two years of experience who has demonstrable knowledge in at least one of the following categories:
- Growing mushrooms
- Growing microgreens
Writers must have a strong grasp on SEO and understand what’s necessary to help a page rank.
Writers must also have a native grasp on the English language and a functioning knowledge of AP style.
As a freelance writer for GroCycle, you’ll write approximately one article (between 500 and 2,000 words) per week.
You can choose on which day of the week you submit the article, but the day should remain the same each week.
If you are a good fit for the role, this will be a long term position. You’ll be assigned a “batch” of several keywords and due dates, so you’re able to plan your research and writing time accordingly.
Writers may occasionally be asked to make light edits to their pieces after they’ve been submitted, though as you learn the role, this will become less frequent.
The rate for this position is 6 cents per word.
